Journey Overview
The Calile Hotel is located in vibrant Brisbane located in the boutique James Street area in Fortitude Valley and houses some of the best restaurants Brisbane has to offer, not to mention the fabulous outdoor pool area. Bedarra Island is located near the Great Barrier Reef and is one of Australia’s most beautiful private Islands. It is the ultimate in barefoot luxury.
Bedarra comprises just ten private villas hidden amongst 45 hectares of tropical rainforest, offering solitude, privacy and sublime views over the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef. Accommodating a maximum 20 guests, you are guaranteed a sanctuary of seclusion and solace and a personalized island escape like no other.
Trip Itinerary Details
DAY ONE
Arrive Brisbane, transfer by private car to The Calile Hotel for 3 nights accommodation in a pool view room with breakfast included daily.
DAY TWO
Start the morning with a delicious breakfast at the hotel and take your adventurous spirit to new heights on a Brisbane Story Bridge Adventure Climb. Follow an experienced climbing guide from the central platform to the summit, then across the width of the Story Bridge. Enjoy panoramic views of the Brisbane River, Moreton Bay, the Glass House Mountains, distant Mt. Coottha and Lamington National Park. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure and then prepare for your evening at the Ballet (subject to dates being available).
DAY THREE
Breakfast in the morning, followed by a day at leisure.
DAY FOUR
Enjoy breakfast and depart by private transfer to Brisbane airport, then fly to Cairns where your helicopter transfer awaits to take you to Bedarra Island. Check in to your incredible Pavillion and enjoy a cheese platter in reception before having the afternoon at leisure. Choose your own dining time between 6pm and 8pm, and enjoy the delicious cuisine this evening.
DAY FIVE
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and head to the Beach Club to collect your dinghy for the day. You will be given a safety briefing, and you can choose which private beach you wish to anchor at for the day. You will be armed with a picnic basket and champagne (and a walkie-talkie in case you wish to reach your island hosts) and enjoy your private experience. Dinner is included this evening.
DAY SIX
Day at leisure – perhaps do nothing, or planned one of the activities listed on your daily schedule – the day is yours to choose!
DAY SEVEN
Have breakfast this morning by 10am and then head to your snorkelling tour, exploring a number of different reef locations to offer a large variety of coral types and reef formations. Return today for your 3pm couples massage (1 hour duration) and the rest of the day is yours to enjoy.
